Wilbraham Police (NEPBA Local 120) looking for golf tourney players and sponsors
The Wilbraham Police Relief Association would like to proudly announce our 4th Annual Golf Tournament. The event will take place on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at Chicopee Country Club. Registration will begin at 7:30 am.,a shotgun start will be at 9 a.m. lunch and dinner will be provided by the Turn 9 Bar and Grill. There will be prizes awarded for closest to the pin and longest drive, as well as team awards. Raffles and 50/50 tickets will also be available for purchase. The format is a best ball scramble.
We are respectfully requesting donations from local businesses in an effort to raise money for this event. The purpose of the Police Relief Association is to support local charities and organizations, as well as local and national law enforcement agencies. As a result of the generosity of the business community for the last three events, a portion of the proceeds went to scholarships for Minnechaug Regional High School students, Friends of Wilbraham Recreation to support youth sports, State Police of Massachusetts Benevolent Association, Shriners Hospital, Team Andrews, Wilbraham Peach Blossom Festival, Mass Police Work Dog Association, Minnechaug Regional High School Color Run to support students with cancer, Wilbraham Fire Department, Stop the Bleed program, the One Call Away Foundation to support Veterans with PTSD and St. Baldricks Foundation to fight childhood cancer.
Enclosed is a signup sheet with rates and sponsorship information if your corporation would like to play. In the event you cannot attend, but would like to donate and assist our association in fund raising efforts, please fill out the enclosed form and return it to the post office box listed on the application. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. In lieu of a cash donation, we would accept any gift or merchandise to assist in our raffle the day of the event.
