Our Law Enforcement brothers and sisters need our help to STOP House bill # 3033:

The Massachusetts House of Representatives will be voting this Wednesday, May 24th on House Bill #3033, which will prevent state and local police from cooperating with Immigration and Custom Enforcement Officers, basically declaring Mass a Sanctuary State.

The U.S. Govt. doesn’t have immigration laws just to be mean. Our Federal Immigration Laws protect us from dangerous criminals, those with communicable diseases, those with no intention of assimilating, and control immigrant entrees to a number that will not overwhelm our ability to support them.

Until the Federal Government is able to halt illegal border crossings, visa overstays, and pass immigration reform for those already here, creating publicized havens/sanctuaries exacerbates the problem by encouraging more illegal entries and visa overstays, we need to support our government’s efforts to screen and control all who enter our country.

We should NOT allow criminals to enter this country as we equally control who we allow in our homes. Anything less is hypocritical of us.

Our time would be better spent toward supporting securing our borders, preventing visa overstays, and immigration reform enabling law abiding illegal immigrants already here with a pathway to eventual citizenship. To deter defiance of immigration laws, the federal govt. will very likely attempt to withhold much needed federal funds from those states, cities, or towns in opposition.
