NEPBA WINS WOODSTOCK VERMONT POLICE ELECTION

On June 3rd, the Vermont Labor Relations Board counted the election ballots for the Woodstock Vermont Police bargaining unit and when the counting was done the New England Police Benevolent Association was elected as the exclusive bargaining unit representative for the Woodstock Vermont Police Department bargaining unit by a unanimous vote from the local.

The New England Police Benevolent Association continues to expand in Vermont as the Woodstock Police Union became the latest members of the fastest growing law enforcement labor organization in New England.

The membership of the Woodstock Police Union now joins their brother and sister officers in the largest police union in the State.

New England PBA Vermont State Director Sean R. McArdle stated; “The Officers of the Woodstock Police Department are the utmost professionals and their decision to join with a professional all law enforcement organization like New England PBA is obviously the right choice. I look forward to working with these dedicated law enforcement professionals.”

New England PBA Executive Vice President Tom Daly called the election, “a great day for the hard working and dedicated members of the Woodstock Police Department, who clearly want to be represented by a law enforcement union who respects and understands the needs of police officer
