NEPBA WINS UNFAIR LABOR PRATICE IN RHODE ISLAND

NEPBA Attorney Frank Camera represented NEPBA Local 808 Woonsocket Police Department at the Rhode Island Labor Relations Board. The Union charged the City Of Woonsocket with failing to bargain over the implementation of body worn cameras.

The Labor Board ruled that the City Of Woonsocket failed to satisfy its obligation to bargain over the body worn cameras and should immediately cease and desist from making unilateral changes to working terms and conditions of employment.

The City was also ordered to cease and desist from applying or using the Body Worn Camera Policy .
