NEPBA WINS CHESTER VERMONT POLICE ELECTION

On March 22nd, the Vermont Labor Relations Board counted the election ballots for the Chester Police Benevolent Association (Vermont) bargaining unit and when the counting was done the New England Police Benevolent Association was elected unanimously as the exclusive bargaining unit representative for the Chester Police bargaining unit.  The New England Police Benevolent Association continues to expand into Vermont as the Chester Police Local became the latest members of the largest and fastest growing law enforcement labor organization in Vermont.

New England PBA Vermont State Director Sean R. McArdle stated, This was great day for the hard working and dedicated members of the Chester Police Department, who clearly want to be represented by a law enforcement union who respects and understands the needs of police officers. Our organization stands committed to improving and growing the labor movement by continually organizing unrepresented law enforcement units or those who are unfortunately receiving poor unsatisfactory representation from their current union.”

New England PBA Vermont Business Agent Christopher R. Hoar stated, “With the election process behind us, NEPBA has immediately begin preparation for upcoming contract negotiations on behalf of the Chester Police Benevolent Association. We are extremely proud to be representing the men and women of the Town of Chester Vermont and our organization is looking forward to providing them with the services and representation they so deserve.”
