NEPBA Mourns Billerica Detective Sgt. Ian Taylor
NEPBA SALUTES: Detective Sgt. Ian Taylor #153 who was tragically killed in the line of duty while working a construction detail on Boston Road in Billerica. Sgt Taylor was 49 years old and leaves behind his wife Mindy, his daughter Kiley, his sons Zack & Nate, as well as his mom and dad.
His Dad and brother are also members of the law enforcement community. He was truly loved by his brothers and sister police officers of the Billerica Police Department, where he served for the last 12 years of his 21 year career.
Detective Sgt Ian Taylor was a proud and decorated police officer and a member of the New England Police Benevolent Association and the United Federation of Police Officers and he will be sadly missed by our organizations.
