NEPBA Member receives commendation

NEPBA Local 412 Officer Ryan Washburn received a commendation from Interim Chief Mark Carignan for his compassionate work helping a couple that was stranded in Brattleboro Vermont with no money or gas. He arranged for a hotel room, medical care for one of them, a bus ticket home, and bought them food with his own money. Officer Washburn’s dedication to law enforcement in Brattleboro Vermont stands as a model for community policing in New England. The Executive Committee of NEPBA congratulates Officer Washburn on a job well done.
