NEPBA ATTORNEY ARGUES MEMBER’S CASE AT NH SUPREME COURT (VIDEO)

Attorney Peter Perroni recently argued an appeal at the NH Supreme Court on behalf of the NEPBA that implicates the standard of review to be provided to arbitrators’ awards.  The City of Portsmouth has appealed an award issued by an arbitrator which requires damages to be paid to a former officer based upon a wrongful termination.  The case is important because it could allow cities and towns to more easily challenge Arbitrator’s findings and escape Awards in favor of employees. The Court is expected to rule in next few months.
