NEPBA Andrew Ray scholarships announced

The New England Police Benevolent Association, Inc. is proud to announce the winners of the Andrew L. Ray Memorial Scholarship awards.  Each winner is the child of an NEPBA member in good standing who submitted an application before the August 31, 2016 deadline.  Students were selected from a random drawing at the Executive Board Meeting held at Lenzi’s Millhouse Restaurant in December, by Executive Director Jerry Flynn, with help from  WMEX 1510 Talk Show Host; Michele McPhee. click headline for more……

Andy Ray was a 14 year veteran of the Tyngsborough Police Department, having served as the local steward and president. He was also one of the founders and the secretary/treasurer of the New England Benevolent Police Association.  Andy passed from complications of a heart condition at his home on Sept. 5, 2008.
