NEPBA Local 93 (Chelsea Mass Police Officers Association) need your help!
One of our Officers, Carlos Vega was recently diagnosed with “stage 3” Colon Cancer. He is currently out of work and started chemo last Friday. He is a 41 year old father of 3 children and 15 year veteran of the Chelsea Police Dept. We have organized a fundraiser on his behalf to try and make up lost income and supplement some of the medical bills he is assured of accruing.
The event is Tuesday evening 03/01/16 @ 7:00pm, Kowloon Restaurant (Saugus, MA).
Tickets for the event are $50 per person ($20 to Kowloon and $30 to Officer Vega). The ticket includes entry into the event, a comedy show by numerous talented comedians and a silent auction (again to raise money for Carlos). The auction will include all kinds of “sports memorabilia” (donated by our local Boston sports professional teams) and other select items.
In addition, there will be a $10,000 (cash) raffle winner drawn. The price of the raffle is $100 per ticket. There will only be 300 tickets sold (300-1 odds on winning) and you DO NOT have to be present to win. There is also a 2nd place prize of $2,000 and 3rd place prize of $1,000, respectfully.
The plan is to pay out $13,000 in cash prizes to the winners and be able to give Carlos $17,000.
We want to make sure we can meet our goal (300 raffle tickets and 400 event tickets).
