Shrewsbury Police Superior Officers Association Vote to Join NEPBA

The New England Police Benevolent Association is proud to announce that the Shrewsbury Police Superior Officers Association (SPSOA) has signed an affiliation agreement with the organization.  After a Union meeting with the NEPBA leadership team, the SPSOA decided to have an election to determine if the membership would like to affiliate with fastest growing law enforcement labor organization in New England.  The election by the membership happen in November and SPSOA elected to affiliate with New England PBA effective January 1, 2019.  All of us at NEBPA welcome the men and women from Shrewsbury Police Superior Officers Association.

The New England Police Benevolent Association continues to expand in Central Massachusetts as the Shrewsbury Police Superior Officers Association became the latest members of the fastest growing law enforcement labor organization in New England.

New England PBA Massachusetts State Director Sean R. McArdle stated; “All the Police Officers at Shrewsbury Police Department are the utmost professionals and the decision of the Ranking Officers to affiliate with a professional all law enforcement organization like New England PBA is obviously the right choice. I look forward to working with these dedicated law enforcement professionals.”

New England PBAExecutive Director Jerry Flynn called the election, “a great day for the hard working and dedicated members of the Shrewsbury Police Superior Officers Association, who clearly want to be represented by a law enforcement union who respects and understands the needs of police officers.”

New England PBA Executive Vice President Tom Daly stated, “We are extremely proud to be representing the men and women of the Shrewsbury Police Department and our organization is looking forward to providing them with the services and representation they so deserve.”
