NEPBA WINS LUDLOW POLICE ELECTION

On May 21st, the Vermont Labor Relations Board counted the election ballots for the Ludlow Vermont Police Benevolent Association bargaining unit and when the counting was done the New England Police Benevolent Association was elected unanimously as the exclusive bargaining unit representative for the Ludlow Police bargaining unit, over International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 300.

New England PBA Vermont State Director Sean R. McArdle stated, “With the election process behind us, NEPBA immediately begin preparation for upcoming contract negotiations on behalf of the Ludlow Police Benevolent Association. This was great day for the hard working and dedicated members of the Ludlow Police Department, who clearly want to be represented by a law enforcement union who respects and understands the needs of police officers. Our organization stands committed to improving and growing the labor movement by continually organizing unrepresented law enforcement units or those who are unfortunately receiving poor unsatisfactory representation from their current union.”

New England PBA Executive Director Jerry Flynn stated; “The Officers of the Ludlow Police Department are the utmost professionals and their decision to go with a professional law enforcement organization like New England PBA is obviously the right choice. As I have said numerous times, our best advertising comes from our members.”

New England PBA Executive Vice President Thomas Daly stated, “We are extremely proud to be representing the men and women of the Town of Ludlow Vermont and our organization is looking forward to providing them with the services and representation they so deserve.”
