Regional Headquarters (Chelmsford, MA) – The New England Police Benevolent Association, Inc is happy to announce the recent appointment of Steve Arnold as New England PBA Legislative and Organizing Director for the State of New Hampshire. Steve is a recently retired detective from the Portsmouth New Hampshire Police Department after twenty-three years of service. Steve spent twenty-one of those years serving in a variety of union capacities within the department as well as serving as the past president of the New Hampshire Police Association. He is a former trustee of the New Hampshire Retirement System and currently serves as a member of the New Hampshire Retirement Security Coalition. In 2009, Steve was appointed to serve on the New Hampshire Death Penalty Study Commission. As a familiar face at the State House in Concord, Steve will waste no time getting down to business with his positive “can do” attitude. His work on “Michael’s Law” (survivor death benefit) with Jerry Flynn and the “Widow’s clause” pension bill are examples of what can be accomplished when Steve Arnold rolls up his sleeves. Steve is a welcomed addition to our New Hampshire Region staff. »
