SPEAKING WITH ONE VOICE, MOVING WITH ONE PURPOSE!
The New England PBA, along with the following Police Groups; Massachusetts Police Association (MPA), Massachusetts Fraternal Order of Police (MAFOP), Boston Police Superior Officer’s Federation (BPSOF) and the Mass Municipal Police Coalition have joined together to show State Representatives and State Senators that we are UNITED on several issues that have come before them in recent times. In a letter urging legislators to consider the effects that recent legislation regarding Quinn, collective bargaining and pension issues will have on recruitment and retention of qualified police officers. These groups, which represent 18,000 law enforcement officers throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, agree that “we cannot continue to erode and eliminate wage, benefits and program structure of law enforcement personnel and think that it will not have an impact”.
