NH CORRECTIONS: CONVICTS ARRESTED AFTER ESCAPE
Concord, NH - Authorities arrested two minimum-security inmates at gunpoint who corrections authorities said Sunday tried to escape from the Transitional Work Center in Concord. A witness called Concord police upon seeing two men wearing prison uniforms walking through a cemetery next to the Transitional Work Center at about 1:45 p.m., according to a statement released by the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.
New Hampshire State Police also received a call to a report of two suspicious men getting into a minivan on Sewalls Falls Road in Concord.
The statement identified the men as Bruce True, 23, of Enfield, and Julio DeJesus, 32, of Lawrence, Mass. Troopers and Concord police officers tracked the men down in a Boscawen neighborhood, where they arrested True first, and DeJesus about 10 minutes later. Police transported both men to the state prison in Concord. »
