NEW ENGLAND PBA CRITICAL INCIDENT RESPONSE TEAM ACTIVATED FOR EVERETT POLICE SHOOTING

August 31, 2010 - The New England PBA Critical Incident Response Team was activated today after a bank robbery suspect was shot by police after lunging toward them with a knife.  Preliminary reports indicate that police were chasing the suspect as he was fleeing the crime scene.  It is believed that officers working a police detail in the vacinity of the Everett Cooperative Bank chased the suspect and were threatened as he lunged at them with a knife.  We will update as news becomes available.
