Michael F. Hanley:
Attorney Hanley is a founding member of the firm and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Bar for the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to founding the firm, he was a partner in the law firm of Johnson, Hassett & Hanley in Boston. Mr. Hanley is retired from the Massachusetts State Police after spending over 23 years in law enforcement, during which time he attended numerous seminars on criminal law and prosecuting OUI cases. After completing his tour of duty in Viet Nam, Mr. Hanley received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps. He is a graduate of Boston State College and Massachusetts School of Law.
Mr. Hanley has appeared on Court TV along with Catherine Crier, Rikki Klieman, John Gibson and other hosts discussing high profile trials. Mr. Hanley has also appeared on Channels 4, 7, Fox 25, New England Cable News and PBS Channel 2 on the Greater Boston show as a legal analyst.
Attorney Hanley has represented law enforcement officers for his entire career. Whether in front of a local appointing authority, the Civil Service Commission, the Labor Relations Board or in District or Superior Court, Attorney Hanley has done it all. He continues to represent those in law enforcement through his work with the New England Police Benevolent Association and the New England Coalition of Public Safety.
Mr. Hanley also focuses his practice on the representation of individual and business clients in all facets of civil and criminal litigation. Further, he represents individuals and small business clients in residential and commercial transactions. Mr. Hanley currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the City of Quincy, MA Board of Appeals.
