Keith Sullivan is a corrections officer with the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office and has been employed with the office since 1991. He has been a long time active union member and currently serves as the secretary for the 500 member Local since February 2005.
 

Keith was instrumental in leading the Middlesex Correction Officers Association intojoining the NEPBA, I.U.P.A., AFL-CIO in 2007. The Middlesex Correction Officers Association Local 500 was the first corrections officers Local to join this outstanding organization. His hard work and commitment to his Local and to the NEPBA has been recognized by the NEPBA executive committee and in October 2008 he was appointed to the position of recording Secretary for the NEPBA, I.U.P.A., AFL-CIO. 

Keith has been an outspoken advocate with regards to the positive effect that the all inclusive law enforcement organization has made for his local. He is involved and participates in all aspects of the Locals running but his specialties include investigatory interviews, disciplinary hearings, and grievance/arbitrations proceedings. Keith holds an Associate degree in Liberal Studies from Middlesex Community College and is currently enrolled at the University of MASS at Lowell, Bachelor’s of Science program in Criminal Justice. 

Keith is a former wrestling coach for Wilmington High School and prior to that started the Tewksbury Junior High School Wrestling program for Al Donovan. A former wrestler himself, he has competed at both the 1988 Jr. Olympics held in Iowa, and at the 1995 World Police and Fire Games that were held in Melbourne, Australia. Keith has been married to his lovely wife Tania for ten years and together they have a daughter named Annemarie and a son named Jonathan. True to his roots, he has remained a Tewksbury resident.
