(Hillsborough, NH)  July 19th- On today’s date in the Town of Hillsborough NH a huge victory for the men and women who work for the Police Department was accomplished after a long and lengthy fight with the Town. In a unanimous vote the members voted to become the newest member of NEPBA in the State of NH.  NH State Director Ron Scaccia, who oversaw the election stated, "In what has been a grueling fight with not one but two Police Chiefs for over a year in Hillsborough, the persistence and courage of the officers has finally won out over the pressure and stalling tactics of an obviously anti-union administration.  My only regret was that we could not get the three Sergeants included in the Union after they were excluded in a ruling by the PELRB,  after some questionable testimony provided by the current Police Chief!".  "We look forward to providing the men and women of the Hillsborough Police with the same superior representation and legal services that the rest of their brethren in NH have come to enjoy as members of NEPBA!
